So much yarn, so little time…
Everybody caught by the knitting bug knows this sentence. We are struggling every single day to find that missing minute to knit just few more stitches. Today I am not talking about the problem, but rather about the solution. Before giving you the key, I will tell you how I came up to it.
My friend Yana creates beautiful hand painted yarns and own a ARTFIL yarn shop, so you can imagine how MUCH yarn she have. Her stash (did I mentioned she is yarnaholic) is huge. And she knits most of the store samples herself. Well, that is her job you will say. But somehow, the business part steals her time, so knitting is not her job, but still her hobby.
I asked her (full of good jalousie) how she manages to find time for all this knitting projects. The answer was simple “I knit everywhere”, and then she added “literally”. She is actually knitting even while walking. I tried to picture how this is possible. She saw my confused face and said “You know what is missing in the world? A knitters “ALL TO DO” bag! A bag, that is easy to carry, but big. It has to be able to accommodate simultaneously my purse, my 2 project bags and my notion organizers and still not be full. It has to be easy to operate with, also with endless pockets easy accessible for quick access to my cellphone, keys and other all day usable stuff. It has to be 100% natural of course!
We both were thrilled with the idea, so I sat and designed for hours this perfect bag! It comes just like she was imagined it. I have added the final touch and gave it to her.
You have to see the smile on her face; she was like in front of the heaven.
Now… she is always with the bag, and keeps telling me “You made my life easier, I thought I knit everywhere… NO! Now I can knit everywhere.”
Small details – there are 12 pockets and 4 needle places and text is hand embroidered!
